I would highly recommend The Bond Company as a venue, they were so accommodating, helpful, and nothing was a problem, we would definitely return. A dream location! Gok and the ‘How to Look Good Naked’ team felt very at home and the staff were so obliging! Thanks Bond!

About Us: History

The Bond Company was launched in 1988 with the opening of The Bond on Fazeley Street. Since then the business has grown considerably and now operates five sites all grouped in the same neighbourhood. Great care has been taken over the conversion and maintenance of all buildings owned and managed by The Bond Company. The historic complex, once the home of manufacturing, is now host to a variety of businesses appropriate to the changing needs of today’s economy.
The Bond
The Bond, where the business originated, comprises of a unique group of Victorian buildings fronting onto the Grand Union Canal in the Warwick Bar Conservation Area. The centrepiece of the complex is The Icehouse, an outstanding 19th century warehouse. This local landmark dominates the area with its majestic front and fine cobbled entrance courtyard surrounded by the original buildings. The Gatehouse and historic canal Tollhouse are also located on this site. The Bond Café provides services to all our tenants and visitors. Tenant and Visitor parking is also available on this site.
The Arch
The Arch combines sensitively designed modern buildings with Victorian architecture dating from the mid 19th century. Important details have been retained from the original fabric and all the units are grouped around an enclosed, landscaped courtyard making this an attractive oasis of peacefulness in the heart of Digbeth. The site was originally a nail making factory.
The Link
The Link, an industrial building originally constructed in the 1960s, has been converted to create an impressive studio facility focused on dance. The central space provides a unique open plan environment, sprung floor and stage for all kinds of dance with offices at the front.
The Garage
The Garage, as its name suggests, is a former petrol station and car repair building occupying a prominent corner location. This building has been renovated to provide a new arts and media complex with offices and administrative facilities alongside a black box space suitable for all kinds of exhibition and video events. There is also a secure car park at this site available for individual and group parking space hire.
The Gap and The Yard
The Gap is the Bond Company’s smallest building. Only 10 feet wide it provides a unique small space for a variety of uses. Alongside it, The Yard is a former scrap metal works and is now a secure covered car parking facility for tenants.
